How much light are you putting on there? what are your nitrate levels? Has the tank fully cycled? Is it possible the pleco is keeping up with the whole algae? Why are you complaining lol

lol. i doubt its your pleco, but if anything your lucky. if you have low light levels, and lots of tanning from driftwood etc, then.... if your that worried about it, maybe get some plants and see if they live or just die

Yea i know it sounds retarded, just hit me today though, ive never seen a single trace of algae in there, been over 3 months, lower light as piranhas are light sensative

I have barely any lighting on my tanks. My tanks are pretty dim so I never get algae. I haven't had any for a long long time, like a year and a half. I don't even have a pleco. You just must not I have enough lighting for the algae to take a grasp.

Hey, there's a guy on the other channel thats got a beard algae problem maybe he can send you some. :D

A single large common pleco is more than capable of keeping a tank that size free of algae, those guys eat nonstop

Funny as hell cuz thats what triggered my worry, i have had aquariums since i was a kid in the late 80's, always had major algae problems, but till i started here i never really adapted my lighting to my fish, always had the brightest i could find, its sweet, ill never go back to full lights, its in our front room where the shades are usually pulled, im almost posotive its a lighting thing now that yall mention it, i owe ya!!
