No brand UV bulb vs brand name UV bulb

Do you use brand name UV bulb replacement or no name brand? I was comparing price and it was a big difference. Am I getting my money worth spending it on brand name bulb like coralife?

My guess is there are very few compaines that make them but many that label them. If they can't dazzle you with charts and specs they might br cheap China stuff. Heck. Even a big name don't prove amything. I have been wondering about this since cause I plan on getting a uv filter.

I really have not noticed a difference. When my factory bulb needs to be replaced I usually just go on Amazon and order replacement CNZ brand bulbs. I consider these pretty 'no name' compared to like Philips, Honeywell, or Purely Products. But they seem to work fine.

i have used no name brands and it doesn't make any differences.. UV but i can tell you that regular light bulb it does since i used to work in a retail light bulb store.. UV it doesn't matter..

Problem is you don't know who make their bulbs, name brand or not. Sometimes you get what you pay for. If you don't need a fine tuned UV than cheap bulb will probably be OK.
