Hi everyone, Nitro here, ive frequented many forums here for quite a while.

After a while I came to realize something, that since I dont have big tanks yet, do I really have any business being here? Does anyone else have the same dilemna?

I dont think I can give up MFK though, every morning I wake up to find my gmail full of subscription hits, and then I proceed to read each one, then im on with my day. I have not been here long, at least a few months, but I find my interaction and ability to provide advice is dwindling fast.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Then you learn until you can have the huge tank.

I already feel I have learned as much as I can right now, at least about the groups of fish that im interested in keeping in the future, and own many books about keeping said fish. Ive exhausted threads about them in the past.

Then you pick a new type! :headbang2

stick around and hang out man. My biggest tank currently is a 75 and by no means has any monsters occupying it.

I enjoy the pics of fish and the BS in the lounge, I like learning new things too.

My current biggest is only 100, but I am hopeful. Also you can read the DIY section and make an inexpensive one. You don't want to leave home do you??? What about all the witty and witless banter?

i dont have a monster tank but this place is still one of the best sites for information regardless of your tank size. go to a lot of other sites and ask about something like exodons or rays and you wait weeks for a reply and even then half of them are guess work if you do get a reply at all. at least here people have had the exotics to give first hand info.
a lot of other places dont even know much about common fish like saums or other large cichlids.

well my biggest tank is 200gal, but im reading through everything anyway, you sort of get new ideas by looking at what everyone else has and also you learn from the experiences they have with their fish. its an ongoing learning process here :) so you're not finished here yet lol

I understand what you are saying, I at the moment only have one thats 120G and as much as I would love to get more tanks there is no chance of having more than one running in the house.

But, having said that I stick around to read the different threads, figure things out, learn, so that hopefully one day when I do have more than one major tank running then I won't make as many basic mistakes.

So I'd say, you can never learn TOO much.
