No edge tanks???

Yep, it is best left as a reef tank unless you know about reef tanks. Actually they are impractical and apparently the latest gimmic to separate a fool from her husbands money (I'm gonna get flamed for that one...good thing I am leaving for five days).

In a small uncovered tank, evaporation is a consern. In a reef tank, evaporation in small tanks will cause extreme fluctuations in the salinity. Unless you are Jonny-on-the-spot with care and maintenance, there will be bad things happening in those tanks. Most people that have to have the coolest and flashiest gimmick do not take care of their tanks and fish. :(

Yeah, if there's good surface movement in the filtration in any tank, there's a lot of evaporation. I wouldn't go for that tank because it's just too tempting for the kids!!!!

Ya know what would be really cool? Although there would be the foolish few that wouldn't mount it right, and end up killing themselves or others, some type of chandelier tank would be really neat. Just something small, like for a betta.

That would be the stuff if you think about it! just plumb it in your fish room , and the rest is up to the emagination! One flush does it all! they love cold water, you could just put that gimic ring of wonder that keeps all perameters the same for 3 years. I would totaly do this !!!!!! Feeders up the a@#!
