Well after I lost my miracle fish to suicide got me a Jardini blah I guess he jumped one night and broke a barbel I know it may or may not grow back but just not into having a flawed fish so my wife has a friend that has a 220gal tank with tiger barbs and a few petco specials so I gave her the jar and it pretty much feasted on her community I told her that was going to happen but she insisted on having the jar cause she could never afford to pay a $100 for a fish but she loves it and cant stop talking about it. The jar was about 10" when I took it over 2 weeks ago it may have grown since the feast I know she had alot of feeders (aka) tiger barbs,glow light tetra,neons,and so on.

Thanks, not sure about the aros SA I cant stand the DE, Afr i might as well get koi, aus eh. asian illegal, I've had just about every kind of predator on this site except for a lot of the catfish maybe I'll try that its just that they make a mess and get huge wouldnt mind a lince cat but I think they need something bigger than what I have when they are full grown. Im going to Dubai, Indo, Australia at the end of the month maybe I can pick up a AUL.
 
You should of kept it. My jar tore its left barbel from the very base and it grew back. All I did was use salt, a bit of melafix, good diet, and very clean water.
It happened when it was around 15", and now at 18", the barbel has fully grown back.
