I think only Kara and Jordan have any clue WTH I'm babbling about, but that's ok, I'll explain!! ^.^

I was planning on getting a Black Rhom (Lucy is what we call Jordan's) a 2" and raising it to a BEAST!!:drool:

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutttt,

Now Brian wants some Whiplashes of his own (the name of my RBP) So we're going to get 3-4 more. I'm debating what number to go with, if I end up with 4 adults, my 75 is going to be cramped. if I get 3, and one gets "eetid" then I'll have to figure out some way to seperate the other 2, until they're close to Whip's size, and maybe put him in.....OR, I could just not risk my favorite fishy's life, and just buy another RBP. Then again, I could always sell any extras.

*shrugs* and the debate rages on!! lol I think we're going to go with 3, they're about 2 inches long, and with the way we feed, that gives me a month to get another if we need to, or even just want to.

Whip's going to stay a single specimen, due to his bad eye, and I only want 1 more RBP for myself. And Brian wants 2 as well.

When we move is when we're going to get our Lucy,:headbang2 that'll give Kara and Jordan more time to make piranha-keeping history!! :D lol

Some names we're considering Spooky Devil Puncher (Spook), Whoopa$$, and Ruby...or we'll just cut Whoopa$$ (that's how it'd be spelt) and go for another girl's name. Simply b/c there's not enough ps with Girl names!! lol
 
I know, if you read the line before the weird names. We're going to get my Rhom after we move, and therefore have more room for fish tanks.

That rhom would PWN the RBPs and then Brian would be mad at me (not like he already isn't, for losing 2 of his fish within the last 2 weeks!!)
 
yeh rhom after you move sounds a bit better.
 
Just be careful when adding more pygo's in. Make sure they are around the same size, move the decor around so they're territories are mixed up and leave the lights off for a while.
If they're around 2" then get at least 4 more as they tend to eat the weaker. I started with 6 juves and lost 2 to cannabilism.
 
I don't think she is putting the new ones in with the one she has now. The one she has now has a bad eye and may get picked on when the littler ones catch up to its size.


Anyway, Congrats on getting some new P's! So the shoal would go in the 75?? I would get as many as possible so that there arent any aggression issues, but you also have to think about tankspace. v

lol the names you come up with!! Whoopa$$ is like Whilash's long lost brother! You will HAVE to give your rhom a girl's name, when you get it....Are you sure you don't just want to get your rhom:D The sooner you get it, the sooner you can start trying to grow it out
 
i think i would go ahead and get 4 RBP's and plant the tank. that would be very cool.

I thought of Whoopa$$ the other night when I almost called Whiplash that on accident!!

Yea, Kara, knowing my luck if I call my rhom a girl, it'll turn out to be a boy!! XD

I'll see if Brian wants 4. I'm only going to be able to pay for 1 and half of the purchase of a second, same goes for Brian....

Sooooooo, when I get my rhom, I'll have room for more tanks, and maybe more money to buy the baby fishy that I want, instead of a fi' incher... ^_~

P.S. my current RBP is staying a single specimen due to his bad eye, I don't want to take any uneccessary chances with his life.....he's my baby-fishy!!

lol Jordan said you should name your Rhom a boy's name, so that hopefully it will be a boy (as you named Lucy a girls name and she turned out a girl!) Then when your Rhom matures, we can try our breeding experiement!


If you could afford 4 RBP's, it would be for the better IMO.
