No more antivenon for coral snakes!

I saw that, pretty scary thought, especially if you live in a coral snake-heavy area.
 
Wow... that is scary. That needs to change. Why all of a sudden no more antivenom? I have a snake book that says Eastern Coral Snake venom was being used in research for cancer and AIDS... you'd think that with that, they would at least have antivenom :screwy:
 
I have several friends that keep corals and I catch them from time to time too so this is bad news...

there is no money in making it. That is the sad truth.
