Im starting to not like how A bobble strip look in the back on my tank and seeing the air line. So what are some idea? I know u can more the water around more VIA water pumps on the side aimed up high or across the tank. Any idea are welcome. Right now i have 2 pumps req for 60g. Im looking to mover water in my 240..

I use so much filtration I don't need aeration any more.

all you need is a good amount of surface agitation then you dont need air stones in your tank anymore...

i have tons of bubbles on my temperature meter. :x its bugging me.
how do i reduce or remove it? ( other than shake it every 3 hours )

I have the fx5 running. I might add another filter plus a Powerhead... So surface movment with a rio should be fine? ill give it a try... what to look for if its not enuff? gasping?

Yeah gasping would be the biggest indicator, other than that you may start to get some surface sludge(very unlikely)

Is the fx5 on the 240g? What else is on there? Or is it on the 60g?

EDIT: I read back threw it and know what you mean. With an Fx5 and two pumps rated at 60g's all pointing up and across the surface is more than enough. Although it might be enough surface agitation but not nearly enough filtration, expesially if you are keeping monsters.

powerheads can give you a good amount of surface agitation

Like all the above, surface aeration is best. I use my bubble bar to mostly for decoration but also to create a second current. It's mild and the fish dont have to swim against it.

I didnt like the look of my bar so I went to WallyMart and got some cheap plastic grass, cut it and siliconed it to the front of the bar. Made a huge difference in the background appearance. I have a black background so I used black airline tubing. Hope this helps some.

Well in tell i find a spray bar for an fx5 ill just point them up and add the rio pump. Thanks. For some reason i dont like airlines... my fish try and fit behide them at big size and keep ripping it off... This is why i want to get a sump and heat the sump cuz the keep knocking off the heater..
