hi there first of all sorry for the bad english. (danish here)

ok im kinda tierd of my malawi tank... and cant get the dream fish serranochromis robustus robustus.

so me and a friend where talking to start up a cichla tank.
the question is what kind of fish. can i have with em.

and are 2300liters anough 300cmx90cmx85cm.

hoping to get some good advice. and also want to hear what kinda plants i can have... new to that...malawi=no plants.

thx Rasmus(copenhagen)

Hi Ras, yes but smaller fish prefer to be in a growout tank. So youve sacked the Arrowana idea now?

Mfg Pete

yes im kinde like the cichla.. and the arrowana is hard to get in denmark. can only get the silver dollar. (think thats what it called.) and thats not the one i like most.

so where thinking cichla and oscar. and maybe a ray...

but again its all new for me.

after 20 years with malawi.

Well rays and Aros are not hard to get just go over to germany there are alot of ray keepers / breeders in the north of germany. Cichlas are a little harder to get as most stores are aware of the size they grow so they dont even stock them and the trend in europe at the moment are these Nano tanks and fish. Ive spoken to my importer and we will be trying to get some W/C Cichlas just for our tanks, but at the moment only singapore has them on its lists so we have to contact our suppliers in south america to see what they can get.

2300liters anough 300cmx90cmx85cm.. how big is this in gallons and inches? no offense but i am a bit to lazzi to do the math.

About 600+ gallons Atleast thats what the conversion chart says

110x35x33 I went on another site and I think thats close

If this is true (i'll take your word for it) ^^^ go get some cichla bradda you won't regret it!

1 liter = (US gallon = 3,785 l) or 1 liter = (imperial gallon = 4,545 l)

im glad to hear its posibel to keep cichlas in my tank. what kinda tank mates can i have with it. ???

and atm my tank setup is sand and big rocks do i need roots and plants to ? (looks like it when i seek on youtube and other internet pictures)

btw who does export cichlas other than singapor ?
(got a fish store with my dad so maybe its posibel to import it yuor self)
