Before I went to bed last night I was looking at my tank and I could not find my pike. I was looking for it and found it stuck between a plant and the side of the tank. He was still alive. I used the net to get him unstuck and he looked a little beat up. I wasn't sure if it was from the green terror in the tank or being motionless for as long as he was. When he was unstuck he just sat at the bottom of the tank. Then this morning when I woke up I saw that he was getting picked at by the GT and was dead... I don't know what happened, I was at school then from school went to a banquet and didn't get a chance to check on everything, this is horrible!

Bummer man! Sometimes there are unexplainable deaths. It was probably the GT...as some juv. pikes can be delicate in the first stages of their lives. Its kinda ironic cuz as they get older they become almost bullet proof! Don't give up though bro, it just opens so many more doors for you! ;)
 
It really sucks. I don't know what happened. It's kind of for the beter because I have a feeling that it was a dwarf pike and then if it was then its future wouldn't have been great, either going back and forth between tanks, or going back to the LFS and going in some kid's fish bowl...
