No plants but i think this is considered aquascaping?

Lol check out my tank and tell me how to improve! First pics are of it now without sand and substrate second tanks are of it bare bottom. Its a working process but it is coming along slowly

Comming along nicely. In my opinion that large peice of wood in there is taking up too much top space, again thats just my 2cents. Other than that, looks great.

The structure at the top is probably there to stop the saratoga from leaping out
 
Looks good, but since you DID put this in the planted section.........you should throw some java moss on that wood and see what happens....and maybe some jungle val in the back.....I mean I've seen peacock bass before kept with those so....why not try?
