The quick fix is take a couple buckets of water out and vigorously pour it back in every three hours or so....A little peroxide will do also....Or a battery powered air pump....If it is cold where you are, keep it as warm as possible. They will be fine for one day, within reason....
hahaha that reminds me of our power outtage.we went 2 weeks without power a year ago.. just make sure you stir up the tank and for a day i wouldnt worry about trying to keep it heated enless if its a really small tank(under 10 gallons) other than that i think youll be ok.
Battery powered air pump to aerate the water, and if you run canisters, take the media out and soak it in your tank so it doesn't starve itself of oxygen inside your filters.
get a hurricane brand battery powered air pump. Or two or three depending on the size of your fish, or if you just want to be safe. I was out of power for two weeks after a hurricane, and I only lost one fish, out of 7 tanks. Good luck!
go 2 wal-mart and get u a couple of battery operated air pumps they run off d-batteries theyre in the fishing dept. I always keep a few 4 emergencies. you should alwayz b safe than sorry. but 4 a day das no big deal.
