We had a bad storm last night and lost power about 3am. Their saying about 48 hours before its back. I have a GSP in a 30gal brackish and a baby fahaka in a 125 gal. What should I do?

What i did on my last outtage was used some battery operated air pumps and did around 30% waterchange daily. That should help keep things in check till they get you up and running again. Hope all goes well.

yeah, do daily water changes and get some sort of power to your air pump to keep the water aerated. i used a car battery connected to an inverter to plug in my air pump.

I'm actually thinking about picking up one of those APC battery backups, like they use for computers, and tasking it just to a heater and air pump for the tank. Anyone ever done that before?
