A shop keeper sold me this fish saying it’s a tiger oscar when it was an inch long. Now it’s 4 inch long (head to tail) and is full greyish with no red markings poping at all. Is this some kind of wild oscar..please help me know.

It does look like a wild variant or you got super lucky with the coloring it looks like it still has baby colors but its too old so not sure definitely a beauty !!!
It is too young at this point to tell, the red usually doesn't become apparent until older, give it another 2 inches to start to see red.
I bought mine at 2inchs and both my tiger and white tiger had reed markings not sure if mine are just weird or what
Also he is not taking any pellet food. His diet includes worms insects and sometimes shrimps

The pellet may be too hard for the little Oscar soak the pellet or tuck the pellet in the shrimp.
try housing him in a tank with a black background while feeding it prawns and color feed.
beautiful little guy none the less, could be a wild variant as others have said or could still just be too little , although i have a tiger that is around that size and it already has its coloring
