no skin or scale on top of my rtg

hey guy, my rtg have no skin on top of its head, it seem like its slowly disappearing or rotting toward the the scale. its just finish healing from fin rot which i treat med and salt. now what can i do with the head problem. here's some pics taken with my cell. plz feel free to comment or give advice.

I've never seen anything like that on a fish before. I'm honestly stumped but I hope he gets better.
