There's a net available that is perfect for catching/moving fish that get snagged to conventional netting material. I use a press-formed rubber net to move fish like gars, rays, large plecos, catfish, and any fish I'm worried will get stuck in a regular nylon or monofilament net. The rubber net is one-piece instead of a woven material so there's no knotted area to snag teeth and/or spines. Plus, the rubber mesh is fairly wide which also prevents snags. also it doesnt remove the slimecoat like a cloth one does. i use those for sw fishing all the time
