I'm confused why the 'USA to the rescue' thread got closed. It didn't seem like a thread that the rules don't allow. It doesn't really seem fair that because Lupin finds it depressing we can't talk about it. I personally think fighting for the Libyan cause was very much necessary at this point, you know, since the rebels asked the UN for help and all and innocent people were dying.

Hoping for some clarification on what is allowed and what is not allowed. :popcorn:
 
The rules are fairly anti-almost-every-but-mostly-just-anti-andy

Notice how the thread bashing cops is aloud,
the thread about illegal imports is aloud, but my thread with a simple news link is locked :)
 
No politics are allowed. This is a highly political subject. That's why it was closed. Kind of obvious, isn't it? :screwy:

Maybe there are other political threads that should be closed as well. You are probably correct about this.

The fact is that the USA entering into more Middle East conflict is one of the most divisive subjects one could possibly post on. Not to mention the provocative (inflammatory? Trollish?) thread title - "USA to the Rescue". This is not exactly how everyone sees it.

I don't think war in a country is politics... but I do agree it's very close.

It's like the rule of no religion but talk of evolution is freely allowed... which are connected.
 
It is considered a political thread to the staff. Anything with politics, wars whatever is not to be discussed as it ends in flame wars and uncivilized conversation. If you have an issue/or question why your thread is closed please send a PM to staff/mod that closed the thread. This to will be closed now.

Also if you guys see other threads you have concerns about please remember you can report the thread with your concern.
