I have a small tank in which I keep small tropicals (mostly guppies since they started breeding!). I use a Stingray medium size filter which has been working fine until last night. For some reason, it started to make a noise. Today, I have taken the kit out of the tank and cleaned it all, making sure everything went back in the right place and replaced it into the tank. Unfortunately it is still making a noise which is driving me mental! I will get in touch with supplier tomorrow, but would it hurt if I left the filter switched off this evening as the noise is just too much. New on this website and would welcome any advice onthis problem.
