Hey everyone. Im building a DIY blue light for one of my tanks. I have the houseing unit already made (just needs one more coat of black spray paint on the outside). I have lined the inside with silver reflective tape. And im about to pick up a product from NOMA called indoor/outdoor rope lights. They come in all different colours but obviously im buying the blue one and going to loop it around itself to full the houseing.
So my question is, has anyone made a blue light like this before? I want to make sure the lights and its colour spectrum dont harm the fish or cause them to go blind, as I read somewhere before thast some types of lights use different spectrums thst could potentially be dangerous to your fish, or at least their eyes. I will post a few pics of the build one I pick up the lights.
