What is a lizard fish? Do you know the scientific name or have a picture? It sounds interesting. I only know of the synodus variegatus sp. and it's marine. Or is the Poly a "lizard fish"?

I'm pretty sure that the lizard fish is Platycephalus indicus, also known as the flathead. Definitely an awesome fish

Flattys r awsome! pity he died. how big was the flatty? they generally have big mouth and guts and very sharp gills from my experience.

the other was 4 inches when it got eaten.
