Hi Guy's

Well i'm new to keeping live plants and have little or no experience with them, so anyway i bought 6 plants not entirely sure what they are and just wanted to know when the plants leaves start to curl is that due to been newly planted and they haven't had the chance to root into the substrate yet ? will this problem even out once settled ?

I don't have co2, i have a sand substrate along with 2x 48" AquaGlo Tubes.

Here's a few pic's!
It's the smaller leafy ones in the middle !

sand will work
those 2x48 are probably around 60-70watts total
anubias are low light
so to keep it cheap i would add 1-2 48" 6500k bulbs
how bigs the tank looks like a 125

CO2 is nice but your not their yet
trace ferts will also help

tanks a 180Gal

Co2 Dmack mentioned in another post that he had tanks set up with nothing but plants, ie no filters or anything.

so i thought it would be quite ok to have the 6 plants in to feed on the nitrates hence it also keeping them down also.

i'm not after keeping loads of beautiful plants which requires Co2 and other gadgets to keep plants. i just want the odd hardy plants to keep nitrates low and add a realistic fel to my aquarium.
