so i have a 150g zebra moray eel tank with 75g sump that is 2/3 refugium, i have 4 32w home depot daylight bulbs on 8hrs a day, would crabs be alright with this lighting and what crabs do u think a zebra moray wouldnt eat (he is small right now, just a juvenile)?

would he eat blueleg hermits and nassarius snails? they are only like 0.5" and prolly woulnd't cause a problem
 
My zebra never bothered my hermits or snails. He would however munch any "true" crabs or non-cleaner shrimp.
 
My 22" black edge doesn't pay attention to hermits or snails, and I'd assume a zebra would be similar.

I'm thinking he ate our large decorator crab though since I haven't seen him in a few days....Hopefully he's just molting and found a good place to hide (if not he definately got eaten).

So hermits and snails should be fine, but other stuff I'd add with caution.
 
ya i sorta figured snails and hermits would be fine, but i keep getting confused by different information. i mean blue leg hermits are pretty darn small and i would doubt the zebra would bother with eating them and i was thinking of nassarius snails that stay buried in the sand most of the and they too are small
