i want to buy a datnoid for my "feng shui" tank, probably an IT or NTT, my question is could they live in fresh water their entire lives? or will they eventually turn into brackish water?

People said AT's (Silver Datnoids) were brackish. But my AT's do fine on freshwater.

It's my wife, actually. That's how I pick up all this jargon...not to mention the food. Lot's of pancit, lumpia, lechon, etc., for Thanksgiving.
