how fast do goonch grow and do they grow faster in warmer water similar to the way wels do?

dont judge im a noob when it comes to cats, i only ever had a columbian shark and 2 striped raphaels

Any and all fish will grow faster in warmer water. Warmer water speeds up metabolism so they grow faster and die younger.

It all depends on what the fish in question will tolerate in terms of temperature. Some fish can thrive in the hundred degree range. Others wont live past 80 degrees.

This subject is open to debate, If you look at the differences in metabolic rate due to temperature, this is usually a fairly short term change as once the body (fish or other animal) gets used to the temperature it really would not make a difference in growth... So why do fish in warmer water tend to grow so much larger... simply put... more available food! Some fish will prefer a colder area of a tank while others will plant them their fishy little butts next to the heater and won't move till their skin sizzles Yet they will eat virtually the same amount of food... Reason being that it's a personal Preference, Same Reason my wife is buried under every blanket in the house while I sleep on top of the blankets... frozen some nights but I wouldn't have it any other way, nor would she!
