I came down stairs this morning to find my lima shovelnose had his left eye ripped out
. I think it was my african pike
as i've seen cuts on him before that had to be from him. It could of been the 4'' convict cichlid in the tank but i've never seen any aggression from him. All the other fish have large mouths with no teeth or very small teeth and his eye was pretty neatly removed. As if i was cut out or pulled out part of his cornea is still hanging on but everything else is gone
Now i'm worried about infection and such i've added salt to the tank and some malafix and am working on seperateing them ASAP any other suggestions ?
