Any cool predatory fish in Sacramento? I'm staying there for the weekend and would like to pick up some cool predatory fish to take home. Hoplias, any rare Cichlas or just something straight up cool and or rare. PM me!! Thanks in advance.

maybe try visiting some of the lfs up in sac ? in know theres two thats good up there, exotic and capitol , dont knwo exactly where they are though xD its been a while since ive been there
Lol. Awkward sounding is cool, most of these fish that we like all sound awkward and are pretty awkward to a sense. lol.
I use to live in Sac so I use to frequent those two stores all the time. The people there aren't so good with their fish. I knew more than their most informative employee. lol. But JoJo's is definitely the place to go to up here. They have the best selection of predatorial and oddball fish. Actually they know me extremely well and is always hooking me up with awesome fish. I'm just hoping someone in Sac has something cool like a wolf. I miss mine. lol.

I absolutely agree gangster. Not having to ship is a huge plus and a motivational factor to buy from the LFS. I actually know most of the LFS in Sac. I usually do a round trip to all the LFS that carries, IMO, the better fish. I hit up Exotic Aquarium, then JoJo's, after that I hit up highway 99 and head towards O street aquarium, and then Capitol Aquarium. And along the way back, if I feel good, I hit an african cichlid store on Freeport (I've got a soft spot for African Cichlids, my first love. lol) But there are actually a lot more pet stores but all they carry are the same'o generic fish like PetSmart. Jojo's is by far the best place to get oddball and predatorial fish, I know the owner Andy pretty well, cool peeps.

I had a couple Wolf fish (not the cichlid type) about a year ago I was getting rid of. Just sold my gulper to a fellow member.
