normal or battle scar?

K so i know stingrays shed their stingers. Do they also shed the lil spikes on the tail or did she hit it on something? Just that one spike looks like there is no skin on it and it is bright white

I just tried to take pics of mine last night. The spike is white, I thought simply cause it's in a white dot?

Isn't yours on a dot too?

Looks like a bit of the skin got ripped.

No it's from a ray biting it. My big motoro has a white spike, I've seen them actually fall off if chewed to much.

Well def not a white spot, and no other ray bit it. Wonder if she hit it on something don't think she hit another fish

hers is from rays nibbling her. i have found a a few that she has shed before.
