Normal Size? 11" RTC in 8 weeks

My RTC is about 11" after buying him as 1" 8 weeks ago.

Is this normal or is he a "wopper", Im moving in 9 mnths and hope the 100 gal. will due till then. Not if he grows at this rate, is this just a early spurt or do they maintain this growth.

you're gonna need a bigger tank.....in 9 months if hes fed well and water quality kept he he could be over 2 feet

yeah ok im building an indoor pond structred like a river, with pumps at end and waterfall at begining
