Petsmart not too far away has a North American Aquatics / North American Pet Products Brand 125G Tank & Stand for $649, comes with a couple basic LED Light hoods and glass covers - didn't know if anybody had any experience with this company/vendor or this particular setup?

They also have an Aqueon setup and while the stand aesthetically looks nice, reviews show that it warps badly with any kind of moisture, kinda counter productive for an aquarium haha.

Went to an LFS and was quoted about $850 if they can get one in stock, but said most of their vendors were backordered but the stand would be more of a true black wood stand with less particle board concern.. I don't mind spending a little extra money for quality but I'm also impatient and ready to get my fishes in to a new home :)

Thanks!!

There are huge shortages of tanks right now. If there is one in front of you, you should probably buy it if you want it soon. I don't know much about either set up, but I don't trust a stand that can't handle moisture.

Yeah the Aqueon stand is out for that reason, the one in the store was even bubbled up a little bit just from being close to the fish department so was hoping could find somebody that had the NA Pet Products one for feedback!!

I just bought a 125 Aqueon ensemble (tank, stand, glass tops, and LED lights) from Petsmart for $470.

The tank looks to be quality. The stand looks good but made of particle board. I'm currently reworking it to fit a sump. I've been over every inch of this stand. After reinforcing and sealing it should fit the bill for me.

are these good deals?

Randys Randys that looks a lot more solid after reinforcing!!

Thanks!
I may put another couple of vertical supports beside the door that I cut out in the end. Just to be sure. Maybe 1x2s. Then a couple of 45° gussets on the back. MDF isn't bad to work with. You just need to approach it a little differently.
