I may make a biotope from my 90 gallon and it would have warmouth, mosquito fish, minnows and a bullhead. They would all be caught from the Rio Grande. I would also use any plants and mosses I would find there.
Should I put the plants in first?
What order should I add them?
Any tips?

you'll have to get your decorations first. some soda bottles and cans, a hubcap, tires and maybe an old refridgerator. all kidding aside I think it best to plant the tank first.

hhhhhhhaahhaha sounds like the mississippi

but really i would start the plants first and as for the bullhead, they are jumpy and with prolly uproot palnts... i have one and he uproots my fake plants all the time

I agree with cyberwaste. Get the plants started first (you don't have to wait for the filter to cycle) and avoid the bullhead. Mosquitofish won't last long with warmouth. Which minnows work will depend on species- larger ones like red shiners should be all right. Warmouth ignore what they can't eat for the most part.
