OK, converting my 110gal tank into a native fish setup. (Central VT/NH area)
Ideas?
I want a big mean, gnarly fish like a Pike/Pickerel/Bass/etc.
Size is not a problem, as the benefit of keeping game fish = you can eat them. (and yes, I will be feeding them quality live/prepared food with edibiity of the fish in mind)
I will probably be catching them either this winter ice fishing, or this spring/summer fishing season.

So my idea is to have maybe 1 or 2 centerpiece fishes (Pickerel or bass), and maybe a pair of bullhead(hornpout) catfish.

Otherwise, i may do a small group of Perch, smelt, shiners, or sunfish.
any other suggestions?

White perch and hogchokers?

It all really depends on the size of the fish you're gonna keep. Pike get very large, as do largemouth. These are also very aggresive fish and might be hard to keep them all together in a 110 gallon tank. You should try to get some Yellow Perch, a pickerel, you can definitely do the bullhead since they won't get too large. If you do a Largemouth just get him small and he'll be alright for a while.
