I am centering a 180g around M. Gephyrum, A. Stalsbergi, and G. Pellegrini. What tetra or other dither fish should I use that are from this region?

Colombian tetras should work. Grow large enough that I would think they won't get eaten, and they are from Colombia where gephyrus and Pellegrini are found. Stalsbergi are actually from peru I think.

If you switched the stahlsbergi for atromaculatum you could make this a biotope and keep the tank around 70-72 degrees

Funny I almost recommended changing stalsbergi for atro's as well. Gephyrus (or ornatum) with atromaculatus has been a tank I've wanted to try for a while.
Thanks guys. Yes I love the Atro idea also, just have always wanted Stalsbergi. Peru is at least northern part of South America. And from what I understand they like temp in the low 70s also. I know guapote Mel has been successful at keeping them together which is kind of what inspired me. And I already have a group of Pellegrini and 4 Gephyrum. Growing slowly but not as bad as I heard. Had them 6 months and have gone from 1.5” to 3.75”
Have you emailed Jeff Rapps about them? I've emailed him before about fish that he doesn't have in stock and he's pretty good about remembering and getting some in when he can.
Great looking gephyrum. If you want the stalsbergi go for it, will probably work as well. Sounds like this will be an awesome tank
