Norway
Here in Norway we are not allowed to have any kind of reptiles:irked: Snakes, turtles, lizards and frogs are totally illegal!!! If Mattilsynet(the Norwegian animal protection) finds out that you have any kind of these, they kill(!) them:( Ehh...strange huh? But guess what! We can have any kind of scorpions, spiders and insects. Why these??:screwy::confused: Many of us here in Norway have snakes, lizards and turtle anyway, but if you have a big snake like boa constrictor you can end up three years in jail. But youre snake will end up dead anyway. A lot of Norwegians move to Sweden where reptiles are legal.
What do you think of this law?

Sounds like a pretty dumb law to me. If it is because of the fear of them being released into the wild, I highly doubt that many species could survive the winter. Boy, I can't imagine not owning a reptile. I also can't belive that they are killed if found. :(

ditto:(

It's just one man that can change this law, but when he was on TV a few weeks ago, he did not answer on anything. We are the only country in europe that have this law. Why? It's so stupid!!!
