nose holes on cichlids...question

Has anyone seen where a cichlid has nose holes that are too big? I know what HITH looks like but this is not the case here. I picked up a beautiful male ornatum around 7-8" at the ACA and he looks and behaves very healthy! Yet his nose holes seem abnormaly large, is this some kind of disease or possibly something genetic? Its not terribly large or anything just not...the right size? Trying to get a pic as im typing this but he wont hold still. Anyone know anything interesting about fishes noses?

I had a 10" female Jag that had some big ass nostrils.
It didn't seem to effect her healthwise at all.

Fish don't have actual noses. Fish nose holes = nostrils.

I've seen some cichlids with larger than average nostrils.

Some have larger ones than other. Just like people. Enjoy your fish.
