Anybody here raised or are raising Nosferatu labridens "Blue Taninul Springs" Thanks look forward to hearing from you guys.

I have kept 3 Nosferatu labridens variants and N bartoni, in the past, but none now.

N pantostictus above
another type below possibly pame, or tephue

and the yellow variant below

I have found all were very hard on each other at maturity, even in 6 ft tanks I could only house aone pair with no other cichlids.
N Barton were a little easier

Those are beautiful.

I had one at one point, though I bought it at a decent size already, and sold it after not too long, so I don't have any great input. I will try to find the picture of the fish, i remember it was very beautiful but shy (kept alone, which might be why)

Please do. I am trying to find this species to start a breeding colony. I would like any of the color morphs of Labridens that I can get.

There are a couple great habitat photos in the book American Cichlids II Large Cichlids by Stack and Linke of labridens in their natural habitat, and with the only other cichlid species there H tamasopoensis.
The book is worth it, just for habitat photos and water chemistry collection point data.
Relevant Water Chemistry Data for labridens is as follows
pH 9.15
Conductivity 1550 uS
temp 82'F, (28'C)
I tried to house them in 150 gal tank with tamosopoensis and the tamos were shredded.

Thanks for the info. Do you know anyone raising these. I found H. Tamasopoensis and H. Labridens "Pame" at Cichlid Of The Americas.
