no where
battling ich, and losing fish left and right in my SA tank...... lost 2 red headed tapajos and my severum looks like hes on the verge of death :( been doing water changes the last few days, tank temp at 82, and adding salt... first time in a VERY long time dealing with ich!!! GRRRRRR ugh!! :( :( :(

debating on giving up and just raising shrimps/small fish for now ( two 5 gallon tanks, one with shrimp and plants, another with idk, more shrimps or something else and plants ) then upgrade from there......

The temp flux with out the heater and heavy stocking could be causing the ick. The tank should stay at a consistent temp.

thats the thing, without heater my tank is at 82 ( some times 84 ) and i am scared of using heaters cause they could blow up lol

I've only had one heater bust on me. it was very old and I forgot to unplug it before I toke it out the water. I've never seen a heater just blow up.

Some times they do especially at the bottom. If the heater is becoming foggy them it isn't sealed. A good fully submersible heater should be fine. Man I got a year old $7 Odessa heater that works just as good as my jäger
