hi, cureently, I have no "monster" fish, but In the past I have owned electric catfish, blue crayfish, african butterflys, 5" melanochromis johanni, large synodontis, 4" yoyos, elephant noses, puffers and other exotics. now, for monsters and exotics, and large fish I have a 7" synodontis eurpterus, 2 other 5" synos, a 8-9" male blood parrot a 9" jaguar texas hybrid, a 7" farowella gracelus, 5" silver dollar, 4" mudskipper and so on spread about 4 tanks. If there is anyone around nebraska who knows a place for electric cats let me know. I am also a member of aquariacentral as fish_breeder_05
 
WHOA!! I JUST REALIZED THAT YOU LIVE IN NEBRASKA!! FINALLY ANOTHER NEBRASKAN!! HAHA!! I AM NOT ALONE!! WOOOOOT!! Gollie, I dunno about you bro, but today was HELLA COLD! I'm your hook up if you want rare fish in Nebraska, I know all the LFS around, in Lincoln, Omaha, Kearney, and Grand Island. For the most part though I have to order fish online. BUT now that I have found you, totally can go in on group orders if you want to. Saves on shippin! :D BTW...I traded my e-cat into a LFS about 8 months ago. I went back to that LFS though, haha...and I saw that who ever bought it brought it back! Sooo, if you want it, I could totally help hook you up wit gettin it. Actually, I'm going up to Omaha tomorrow to hit up the LFS and stuff...;)....BTW...if you know any other members from Nebraska try and get them to come here. I know only TWO other people that live in Nebraska that are online. I'm the only one on this site though.
 
your the first aquarist in NE i have seen too. it was cold in hastings too. what size is that electric catfish? do you make stops around hastings for personal perposses or would one have to be shipped? . I am all about exotics, but hastings is a small town and the best i get get for exotics lately is a xl (5-8") synodontis every couple monthes and sometimes a gar.
 
I just heard from my mom that she has a brother that lives around Gibbon. maybe if I went to visit him, I could stop by in Shelton. Also, I am in the market for larger Aquariums...if there are some fish fanatics around with a spare....I'm interested.
 
Eh Hastings isn't that far outa the picture! I'm not a dealer though...haha...I just know where all the LFS are. Murrays Animal World in G.I disappoints me to no end...so I got to Lincoln and Omaha for reasonably better fish. For the most part though, I get my fish online, cuz I just got fed up with the LFS not being able to get in jack. A good portion of the rarer stuff the LFS have in is mine..haha. Especially when it comes to cichlids. I didn't go today....so I will be going tomorrow. Leaving in the mornin or so. Gibbon is on the other side of Shelton, so you would have to pass it to get there..;). But yeah, I'll send yaz a pm wit my email and stuff...;)
 
I know what you mean about murry's. that black haired girl that worked there said that the reason our dogs started sheding fur was because they were allergic to the foor we have been feeding them because it has corn, when all dog foods have corn and we had feed the same food to them for years.
 
Hahaha...yeah, she is interesting. Loves talkin up a storm wit me whenever I am there. Haven't been there in FOREVER!! Do they still have that aro. on display?
 
i have not been there in a month or 2. Yes they still have that 2 foot aro. love to wach him and the giant clown knife eat the feeder golds!!
