In my 180 i have a colony of 7 moba fronts with a few sevs and geos. Within the last 3 weeks ive found 3 fronts behind the tank that have jumped out. Water quality is fine temp is about 80degrees filtration is 2 fx5 and 3 aquaclear 110's. I also have glass canopies with the only opening where the tubes from the filters go into the tank about an inch. Entire stock is 6-8inches and healthy. I cant figure out why or even how these fronts are commiting suicide. Any help would be appreciated. Ive noticed no aggression or mating behaviors

is the tank in a high traffic area? maybe someone walkin by spooked em ?

Its in the livingroom. But the fish seem to jump out at night when everyones asleep really got me baffled

Is there enough of hiding type areas in the tank for them to feel safe and secure?

I had a front jump out of my tank after being spooked.. popped the 1/2 in glass top off the tank with no issues. He survived though.

any other fish in there?
perhaps a cat runs into them at night, or won't leave them alone and they freak?

Theres a tsn redtail hybrid in there but hes kinda small. 4 foot driftwood and and a huge piece of fake vine provide coverage. New fragrance?? Lol i have a new born his dirty diaper is a new fragrance in the house. Im gonna get some thick pieces of wood to cover any possible escapes the canopy will hide the wood from anyones view

first order of business tape off ANY openings with duct tape before you have another jumper
