Not eating after sex, help!!

Rays just mates 2 days ago and now both the male and female not eating . Is this normal??

What are your experiences??

I had a female motoro get tagged teamed by 2 of my male motoros, all 3 where eating when I fed them the next day.

I've had this happen. Depending on how bad the female was damaged during mating would also reflect the amount of time it may take to start eating normal again. The other thing is after mating I also would do a few big waterchnages.

I would imagine both animals may just be stressed

Like skynoch said do some water changes and test your water parameters just for piece of mind. You can never go wrong by testing your water

I believe it's the mating that stressed them. As the other females are still eating as normal.
