in the river
ok so out in oregeon i got a buddy with this random savannah monitor buy that he did...i flew up got it to eat it was healthy when i left...now he told me yesterday it hasnt eaten for two days but willinglly goes for food (crickets) still hasnt eaten today and he told me to go on to my magic little website where everyone helps me find the right thing to solve problems with my pets(that place would be this website) so try to help me out its a six inch sav monitor my friend runs the ACevery night but has a heat pad and a red night heat lamp on the temp stays between 72-76 in the tank... the monitor will catch a cricket with help but holds it and sleeps and releases, catchs pink mice on its own but wont eat just lets go, wont even eat fresh warm hard boild egg whites...anything else the dude can try to get the bosc to eat let me know thanks...

that 72-76 is his night temp with the AC on...during day his hideout his 80-90 and backsing spot well into the 90's...so i dont know if its cause hes to cold or what...he doesnt sound like he's doing good from the phone call igot this morning he isnt even attempting for food anymore.

What is he using to measure the temps?

Only reason I ask is because some people still insist on using those worthless strips of plastic that they sell at pet stores...to get a good reading, you need a good thermometer. Step 1 in all reptile husbandry.

yeah man he is probly cold..you can feel if ur herps tank is warm..im saying 90's is alot...my savanah tank is like 95-98 during the day and drops to no mare then 80 at night

  got a call today and the savannah monitor passed cause he wouldnt eat... sadness:cry:
