So I transferred my aro to a new tank in the process he jumps out the bag to the floor flops around for a second before I get him in the new tank. Before the new tank it was eating pellets no problem but now he won't eat them just chomp then spit them out. I know it will eat cuz If I drop a super worm or shrimp in its gone before I can blink. What to do in this case?? Aro is 15 in long RTG went from a 125 to a 225 gal tank all other fish eat the pellets no problem at all.. What u think????

I here were ur comming from I just transferred my silver from a 90gal to a 250 gal 3 days ago he wont eat his pellets now. I went and got 5 dozen minnows to kick start him.. then ill starve him till he eats his pellets again..

Mine did not eat for over a month when I first got him. I ended up feeding him Morio worms & cockroaches to get him feeding but now that is all he will eat.
My 22" RTG is strange, he likes to feed mainly when the lights go out. he is settled in now but I wish I could get him feeding on pellets

All my feeder fish were gone when I got up this am.. time to starve to get him back on pellits

aros shouldn't feed on pellets anyways just my 2cents, however it doesn't hurt cuz i feed my jar pellets when I'm lazy like once a month. I'm sure with time he will warm up to it again. Worst case scenario slowly ween him off again if you must just til he takes the pellets again.
