Hey guys!my arowana is taking gulps of air(not from the surface, but from the water)it's like "hypervantalating"
what is the problem?not enough oxygen?
THANK U in advance:)

yawning or something but definitely not because of low oxygen.

It'll be yawning or stretching its jaw my jardini did this a lot whilst growing

Gasping is not normal in any fish.... Might be nothing and just yawning but "hyperventilating" is a sign of a problem.

How long has the tank been running ? what size is it , whats the stock like , what are the parameters - temperature/Ammonia/N02/N03 etc. What sort of filtration/aeration are you running. How old/large is the fish.

Basically more details needed to have an chance at getting advise !
