It’s nothing impressive but I noticed four little orange blobs as I was doing a water change on my platy tank, I hadn’t expected fry this early but I’m not surprised they managed to survive given the amount of coverage I had put down for this exact reason.
These are the second fish I have bred on purpose with the first being bristlenose plecos.

They’re so tiny that I mistook them for debris and almost vacuumed them down the sink.

Congrats

Nice! Always fun seeing new fish, no matter what they are! I'm doing guppies, endlers, and shrimp now along side my cichlids.

I remember on my birthday April 6 I was on the phone with my uncle because he was wishing me happy birthday. And out of nowhere I see like 4 baby masked julies and I started freaking out because it was my first ever success at breeding something. ON MY BIRTHDAY! It’s always nice seeing new fish. Congrats!
