Wondering what folks thought about the size of this tank -

appears to be 16 cichla from 6”-14”? - my guess - looking for input -

tank size? looking for input -
i was thinking maybe a 6’x4’x3’?

i’ve been staring at my 10 - 9”-12” ers and contemplating their future as a group or separate

i would never attempt this unless i had a 1500g or so...

I saw those on Facebook and the feeding vid. I’m not entirely sure but it may even be a 6 x 2 x 2. I was more concerned with the live feeding and the risk of parasites than I was the size of the tank. They seem to be healthy bass and I don’t know what their plans are in the future, so I’m not going to judge. For all I know, they even have a healthy quarantined feeder source. I don’t have a problem with live feeding. I even enjoy watching it. For me, it’s just not worth the risk though.

Not all live feedings are bad. For example, You can buy goldfish. Keep them in a quaratine tank. Feed them crushed up hikari/northfin pellets etc and treat them for parasites. that way you know the feeders are healthy and good to be eaten. back to the OP, all depends on species size will determine the tank size out come. for long term you dont want nothing less then 4 foot wide. imo ideal tank is 10ft long 4ft wide and 3ft tall. thats for long term. but then again depends on species and how many you want to keep.

I don't think those bass were raised in that tank. Those azules are big enough to eat the smaller bass. Water too clean, nothing on the bottom no algee anywhere.
Set up to make a vid.
That's way too many large fish in that tank . IMO. Maybe 3-5 Kel's "maybe" . Tank is too short for most P.Bass IMO.
I love Mr Jacks vids. He knows how to keep bass
