i have 1 P bass as some of you might not thats not eating.. hes starting to look skinny so i want to get feeders before he dies.. i have 5 total but only 1 doesnt eat at all. I dont have a spare tank up to qt feeders.. so i just want to throw some in.. is it ok to put like 30 feeders in? or will my pbass over eat. ? or will they just eat till full then eat again when hungry? i dont want to run to pet store everyday for feeders untill this guy is fattend up.. he wont eat blood worm brine shrimp or ghost shrimp.. i was told to maybe add some salt to the aquarium too? temp is 87.. 200 gallon tank

Feed the other fish first then add feeder guppies. Feeder guppies and Rosie reds is what I use for them stubborn picky eaters.

They will eat in till they are full. But it would a step backwards if the cichla that are already eating pellets or what ever to back to feeders and only take feeders. It's always wise to had a back up tank, tote, rubber made container and so on for times like this or even to quarantine a fish.

Of course we don't want that little one to die. But, all in all, its a risk taken.

Of course understood I rather take a step back to save one I'm addicted to these cichla !

You're telling me about a addiction.:nilly: Do what needs to be done bro, we are here every step of the way. I would feed feeders if everyone tells you not to. I would do it with monos to kelberis back to pinimas. You can or can't trust a pet shop regardless if the feeders are clean or not. you just have to see the first signs of illness if your cichla becomes sick. Part of fish keeping duties. I spend at lease one hour a day looking at my fish.
