Maybe its my fault. Maybe someone else shoulda have rescued these guys.... but my big redtail knocked all the air hoses off. & well 3 cats in a small tank waiting for there pond... not so good. the little guy was already gone. We tried to stick him in a tub alone but hes belly up so dont think hes coming back. The big redtail has burns on his belly really bad. Im guessing he was starting to go belly up by the heater. The big hybrid is fine actually.... ughhhhh.... i feel like crap now!

had a similar situation happen to me, air pump broke in the middle of the night, lost an RTC, a hybrid, a TSN a Niger, and a peacock bass... only things that survived were 2 large goldfish that my fish hadnt eaten

Unfortunately these things do happen. You are still to be commended for having rescued them.

Try swishing the one that you think is almost dead backwards through the water. This will push the water over the gills and just maybe, with a miracle, start him going again. Sorry that this happened :(. Good luck...

Hes already gone. :( He was belly up and mouth wide open. We tried though. Thank you.

Stresscoat has aloe vera in it...I would start with that and see how it goes. Melafix can be a little harsh IMO.

Im not sure if I can find that around here. I dont think the walmarts here carry it either. Id have to drive about 2 hours to pick some up. Anything else that walmart might carry??
