Found this in, my tank today, texas dug it up from the sand. Ith says harmless oder and humidity additives, guess it met it's match for humidity.

But do you think I should buy some carbon to add after tomorrows water change? Who knows how long it was buried under the sand.

Wow. How long was that in there? They usually come in foods that are kept dried and even other items. I have a packet like that in my dried blood worms container. It comes in there to keep them dry. You might have had it in a fish food container and not realized it when feeding them. I would think if you are doing a water change and the fish are all fine then you'd probably be fine just doing the water change. The carbon probably can't hurt but it's probably not needed if the tank looks fine right now. Do the water change and keep an eye on the tank for a couple days.
