Just noticed that my Jewel has something on her head and I think that it might be HITH. Please take a look and let me know. Oh yeah and those are her fry as well

I do not think that is hith. Looks more like she has been running in to the rocks and scraping off some scales.
Hith usually starts in the nostrils and other sensory pits on fish's body. If you can get a better pic I may be able to give a more precise response

How long does HITH take to come on....the reason that I am asking is because when I noticed the fry I took a picture (http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=149081) on Sunday and I didn't notice it. This picture here was taken yesterday afternoon. Let me know what you think. Thanks
