So these are not good pics at all, these guys move WAY fast...but from these pics any ideas on what kind of cats I have? I've had them for quite a while, got them in a 30g tank from a co-worker...there were also 3 JDs in the tank with them, which is why I believe one of them is missing an eye. No, they are not still in the 30 together. The 30 became the sump for my SW, the cats are in my 55g and the JDs are now in the 150g. Anyway before I ramble on even more...can you tell what they are?

pictus???

Ok, thanks!! Their whiskers are so funny!!!

Look like the 4-lined pictus, Pimelodus blochii. I've never seen them so active though.

Well, they are not always active. Most of the time they spend in their "spots" the one with 2 eyes (Brutis) stays hidden in a cave and the 1 eye cat (Popeye) he stays in a fake log in the tank most the time. They come out and swim around all crazy for a minute then go back to their spots.

Thank you for the quick replies btw!!! ;)

Nice.....I never knew you kept fish until now - LOL

They are definately blochii. Im posting up pics of mine here pretty soon, so you can compare. but mine realtively active. Usually swimming between spots throughout the day. Have fun with them.
