I know people hate stocking threads so heres a slight spin on it what should i get rid of. My tank needs a clear out to become more monster.

Stock list for the 90gal

Fire eel 15"
bgknife 8-9"
Ornate bichir 5-6"
Spotted pim 5"
2xThreadfin acaras 4-5"
5xCongo tetras 3-4" males
2xPike livebearer 4" a pair
spotted gar (stunted little @##%)
Unknown Antenna cat, nice but never seen
African butterfly
2xMale Kribs
3xbala sharks 4-5"

So what should go and if i should buy other things what could i get, thinking of another bichir maybe

Heres a pic of the tank to help decisions, surprise most hide on the right of the tank

Personally, I'd get rid of the balas. They can get much bigger and messier than most people think.

those were the only mid water swimmers i was thinking of keeping, i love their look

I love them too, to be honest. You should just get rid of whatever you want. Also, you should definitely get more bichirs....:D

i like the idea of more bichirs but i think the tank needs reorganising as all i ever see are the non monsters

how big is the gar?

the gar was a donated to my store and i felt sorry for it, had been in 20gal for 6mths and now its in my 90gal and is fed krill and pretty much anything it likes and has grown maybe to 5" in 4mths. I know its at least a year old maybe more was in 10gal for a long while i know of

the tank is 48x18x24 thought they would be ok for a good while. 24 being height. I have no shortage of people that will take fish from me as they are always very healthy so i get them gone when they are too big

Well, as long as you have ppl to take them when they outgrow the 4 ft tank. Like barbs, balas tend to swim longer distances than in circles.
